About Us

Every 4 days Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire grants the wish of a child diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition in New Hampshire. We believe that a wish experience can be a game-changer. This one belief guides us in everything we do. It inspires us to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids we serve.

Our Story

Make-A-Wish is the legacy of Chris Greicius, a 7-year-old boy from Phoenix. Find out how his wish to be a police officer set in motion a phenomenon that would create an unprecedented kind of charity.

  • After watching the PBS series "The Durrells in Corfu", Sean knew exactly what he wanted to wish for! He wished to visit Corfu, Greece! Sean also happens to be a huge lover of ice cream. His Wish Granters had the idea to take him for a yummy treat as a way to let him know his wish would becoming a reality. Sean had an even better idea... he asked if they could all meet at Tuscan Kitchen Market in Salem because accoding to Sean, gelato is better than ice cream. To everyone's surprise, Tuscan Kitchen's owners, Joe and Samantha Faro dropped in and offered more than gelato, they offered a whole meal – which was absolutely amazing. Joe gave Sean a tour around the market talking about all the different cheeses, olives oils, breads, sauces and meats. They looked like they had known each other for years. After an amazing dinner, Sean told Joe that his favorite flavor of gelato was vanilla…but Joe insisted he try a few more and delivered a large serving platter with 14 different cups of gelato! Talk about AMAZING! Sean was even sent home with a bag of fresh baked breads and imported olive oils as well as a humongous wooden crate filled with delicious foods and treats! We cannot say thank you enough to Joe, Samantha and the entire staff at the Market!
