Become a Volunteer

Do you have a few hours each week? Maybe a few days each week? Then you can help bring the rejuvenation of wish experiences to kids with critical illnesses.

Volunteers are extremely important and necessary to the success and sustainability of Make-A-Wish® New Hampshire. We believe that being a volunteer to our chapter is an incredible and unique opportunity.

Current volunteer opportunities:

Graphic Design

Do you have graphic design experience? Use your skills to help us grant more wishes! Our chapter is in need of a volunteer graphic designer who can provide their services in-kind to help us create visually appealing images for social media, e-blasts and our website.

Web Design

Web design experts, we need your help. Your talent is needed in-kind to create web content that will make people say wow. Help us reach our community through your web design skills.

Itinerary Specialist

Do you have a good eye for detail, have computer skills and are organized? Work with the Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Director of Wishes to crate all our wish itineraries for our kiddos traveling the world.

Make-A-Wish New Hampshire Hype Man

If you love Make-A-Wish New Hampshire as much as we do than Hype Man is the volunteer opportunity for you! Help us share our mission and our story on social media, while also inviting people to come visit our office for wish tours to learn more about our presence in New Hampshire.

  • After watching the PBS series "The Durrells in Corfu", Sean knew exactly what he wanted to wish for! He wished to visit Corfu, Greece! Sean also happens to be a huge lover of ice cream. His Wish Granters had the idea to take him for a yummy treat as a way to let him know his wish would becoming a reality. Sean had an even better idea... he asked if they could all meet at Tuscan Kitchen Market in Salem because accoding to Sean, gelato is better than ice cream. To everyone's surprise, Tuscan Kitchen's owners, Joe and Samantha Faro dropped in and offered more than gelato, they offered a whole meal – which was absolutely amazing. Joe gave Sean a tour around the market talking about all the different cheeses, olives oils, breads, sauces and meats. They looked like they had known each other for years. After an amazing dinner, Sean told Joe that his favorite flavor of gelato was vanilla…but Joe insisted he try a few more and delivered a large serving platter with 14 different cups of gelato! Talk about AMAZING! Sean was even sent home with a bag of fresh baked breads and imported olive oils as well as a humongous wooden crate filled with delicious foods and treats! We cannot say thank you enough to Joe, Samantha and the entire staff at the Market!
