“ Thank you, thank you for the part you played in making my wish come true. My wish gave me so much joy to dream about, and my day at American Girl was amazing. I will never forget the kindness you showed me. ”

    • I wish to go to the American Girl Factory and create a hairless doll

Amy, an adorable eight-year-old with Rhabdomyosarcoma, loves American Girl dolls. From watching American Girl movies, to reading American Girl books, Amy loves all things American Girl. Amy’s wish was to go to the American Girl headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin and have them develop a hairless doll based on her cancer diagnosis and journey with her illness.

Amy was so excited to be at the American Girl factory! She had a designated parking spot, a name badge with business cards, and her own office. Amy also designed doll clothes that the seamstress then made for her. After creating the doll and its clothes, Amy and her fashionable new friend participated in a photo shoot.

Amy and her family had the time of their lives sharing this truly special and unique wish.
